Podiatrist Celia Rubio Bernal

I was born in Santiago Ixcuintla Nayarit México, I studied my professional studies in the city of Tepic Nayarit, in high school of professional technical podiatry Nayarit 2014/2016, professional title and ID is 61152.

I carried out my professional service in rest home in the elderly “Nursing home of seniors and diabetics patients”. I studied Diploma in Orthotics in the city of Zacatecas Mexico, Diploma in Pharmacology in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico, Diploma in Treatment of Diabetic Patients and Older Adults, Cd Valleys San Luis Potosi Mexico, I specialize in elderly patients.

I performed social service in Tepic Nayarit and flags bay in nursing homes for seniors “Nursing Home With Diabetic Patients”. I have worked for the DIF Institution of the municipality of Mascota Jalisco, DIF of the city council of Talpa De Allende and DIF of the municipality of Bahía De Banderas.

Currently I develop my professional activity in Puerto Vallarta.
I have 40% of English and currently I continue with my studies.
I love my work, it’s my passion.

I love working with older adults, they teach me the simplicity of things and the happiness of living.

What is a podiatrist?

A podiatrist is a foot specialist and can cover different branches within podiatry:

Chiropodology: That deals with injuries and diseases of feet and nails.

Biomechanics: The podiatrist performs a global analysis of the body and its mobility and more specifically the foot, assessing for example the type of footprint. With this study it is possible to correct errors when walking and improve posture thus avoiding possible injuries.

Orthopodia: Treats injuries and imbalances of the foot using splints, silicones, templates and correctors.

Surgery: When conservative treatments do not work, you can go for minimal surgery. With this type of surgery you can treat injuries and ailments without needing hospital admission.
